Welcome to the Cornwall Branch of the BCSS

In view of the coronavirus outbreak we very much regret that it is necessary for us to cancel some of our meetings and events. With this in mind we have cancelled all our activities from April to August, including our Annual Show and the Open Evening planned for August. We hope to be able to resume our programme in September.

Meetings are held on the first Friday of the month (unless indicated otherwise) at Redruth School. See our contact page for details of how to find us.

As always we have a varied programme lined up of meetings, social events and visits to our members' collections. Our regular meetings include a table show with classes each month for any flowering cactus and any flowering succulent.

Our evening meetings often include a talk in which our guest speaker might show photographs of plants in their natural habitat, which form an important element in understanding the conditions in which cacti and succulents grow in their country of origin. We have also included an evening of members' talks and an evening on propagation.

See our meetings page for full details.

If you can come to Redruth you will always be very welcome at any of our meetings.
